When it comes to fixed communications, we have been offering our customers state-of-the-art services through optical fibre, which enables corporate customers to enjoy “everything over IP” and residential customers to subscribe to a triple play packages comprising TV programs, high-speed internet and IP telephony. These broadband services are supported by our CDN (Contents-Delivery-Network) so that motion pictures or voice communication are automatically prioritised in the dedicated IP network, thus ensuring high quality. KDDI will be the first carrier of this size to fully convert its telephone network into IP based one by the end of fiscal year 2007.
