From March 2008, KDDI Europe will
participate in a project set up by the British Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with UK
Trade & Investment, the government organisation that helps UK based companies succeed in an increasingly global
economy.
The Embassy of Japan in the UK is giving its support to the project and will play a leading role. The purpose of the project is to promote Japan as a place for business and investment to the thousands of UK companies with whom both the British Chamber of Commerce and the UK Trade & Investment have direct contact. This project will run for 12 consecutive months and will consist of official conferences, seminars, road shows, international trade events across the UK together with specially organised international visits of delegations and trade missions to Japan. The governments of both countries are helping to provide the relevant market information, industry statistics, economic profiles and sector specific perspectives. KDDI has been asked to participate as a leading global telecommunication company of Japan to cover all the needs on the telecommunication sector inquiries and needs during this event.
KDDI Europe, KDDI Corporation (Japan)'s subsidiary, will liaise with KDDI
Corporation, introducing UK companies interested in doing business in Japan
to them.
